Booked a few days for a solo birthday getaway. Got a treatment at the spa and Haley was fantastic, didn’t want to leave. Loved the food as well. Walked the grounds and enjoyed my whole time there.

We had a wonderful weekday spa day at Dunston Hall, its such a beautiful site. Really enjoyed having lunch out on the terrace overlooking the gorgeous grounds. I also had the most relaxing head, neck and shoulder massage with Claudia, so deeply relaxing! Would definitely like to return here. Bith restaurant and spa staff incredibly friendly and welcoming.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Kieran in the Brasserie! Kieran went above and beyond to cater for my food allergy. Rather than making me feel like an inconvenience, he took the time to ensure I could enjoy the same breakfast experience as my friend, who has no dietary restrictions. His attention to detail, willingness to help, and genuine care made all the difference. This level of service was not consistent among all members of the restaurant team, which made Kieran's professionalism stand out even more. He is a real credit to the team, and I hope his customer service is recognised. Thank you, Kieran, for making what can often be a stressful dining experience feel easy, welcoming, and enjoyable.

It was a birthday gift from my husband, and I had an amazing experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my spa day. The swimming pool was spotless and well maintained, and the sauna was excellent. The massage was truly incredible and one of the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be coming back. I would also love for my parents to experience the same level of relaxation and pleasure that I had here. They are planning to stay at the hotel in October or November, and I know they would really enjoy it. It would be great to receive a discount during that season as well. Thank you.

Amazing spa day. Had the best facial with Kristie. Seriously, if you want glass skin go to her. Food and service at the bar was brilliant and excellent value, we were really well looked after by Katy and Joe in the bar. Honestly was worth the visit.

The location overlooking the 18th green always gives you something to see. The quality of the room and servicing of the room was to a high standard. The quality of food was to a high standard and it was evident that time had been taken in presentation. The swimming pool was clean and a good temperature as was the Hot Tub section. The service seen from all staff members was to a high standard and all contacted were both friendly and pleased to help. The general atmosphere was very good and there has been an improvement in all areas since my last visit ten years ago. I was so impressed I have booked a further weekend and will be looking at making this hotel a regular one to visit

Old meets new. What a nice change of pace from today's modern hotels. Rooms were comfortable and service was good. Large facility on several levels with very small elevators so you had to be patient sometimes as my wife uses a wheelchair. Friendly staff.

Had a lovely spa day and lunch with friends. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a lovely lady called Lois do my treatments and she was brilliant. The lunch and dessert was very good. All in all a good day out.

Beautiful Hotel and Spa. The staff were all very friendly and the treatments were amazing! Victoria did my facial and she was really sweet and made it super relaxing. My friends had Caroline, one did a pedicure and the other did a scalp, neck and shoulder massage and both really enjoyed it. The food options were good and the food was really tasty, both dinner and breakfast. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

I went for a spa day and was very impressed with the arrangement of the whole day. Great location, good facilities, good food and excellent spa staff and treatment facilities. Would recommend the deep tissue massage and facial.

We came for a spa day and afternoon tea and it was just lovely and totally felt posh for the day! Georgia in the spa was absolutely amazing! She did my facial , we have da lovely chat and also a great shoulder and neck massage she deserves a raise Katy in the restaurant was fab, she was so funny and lovely , she catered to everything we wanted, helped us explain everything and all around just did an amazing job Lily in the tea snug seemed like she was in charge that day but honestly would go out of her way to make sure we were okay and make sure we had everything The coffee she made was absolutely delicious 😋 honestly if I could name everyone I would but everyone was amazing 😍 Had a lovely time and can't wait to come back!

Myself and my friend visited on the 14th August as my mum had booked a spa day for me as a birthday present. We arrived later than planned but was seen promptly and greeted like royalty, I had Amy from the spa do an express facial treatment with the added scalp massage which I can only describe as heavenly for a single parent who's toddler is currently being assessed for autism. Amy was fantastic and left me feeling amazing by the end of my treatment. Myself and my friend then went and had a swim for an hour before afternoon tea. Afternoon tea was an amazing experience too despite being one of 2 groups in there you really got the royal treatment with Lily and Katie. The food was amazing and even the gluten free option was exceptional. Both myself and my friend were surprised with the amount that came out and how filling it was. Overall, it was an amazing day and I cannot wait to come again and have another treatment and afternoon tea, well worth the money with friendly and caring staff who go above and beyond.

Second visit to Dunston Hall, had a brilliant time. Golf course is great, accommodation and food brilliant. Spa facilities on site are perfect and massage by Caroline topped off the trip. Highly recommend.

I booked this hotel as a treat for my partners 60th birthday...as we drove up we were greated by the stunning building...the receptionist was very friendly and helpful...I booked a classic king room and it was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable..the room was also spotless...when we unp6we decided to go for a drink in the bar...the barstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks..we decided to sit outside looking out over the golf coarse..the views were stunning...I can't say a bad word about this hotel and will definitely stay there again..

I had a lovely experience today in the spa with Caroline. She was super friendly and accommodating- as were the other women working in the spa. They gave use time to explore the facilities before our massages and it was a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The massage itself was a great pressure and helped to get knots out of my shoulders. I will be looking to book again!

We had our wedding there it was a magical experience and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting married there.
