Golf break
Golf stay with my son Great value for money Lovely hotel and really friendly staff throughout the hotel and the golf club
Arla Farmers District Meeting
Dairy Farmer conference at Dunston Hall. Erika was very accommodating and was more than happy to help when we wanted to change the schedule and mealtimes around. Thank you !
Lovely treat
Attend the spa rooms for a facial was wowed by the decor and attention to detail . My therapist was Imogen who treated me with respect and was very well presented and knowledgeable. We also had lunch in the terrace which was presented lovely food was very good and fairly priced and again staff were great
Lovely retreat
The hotel was beautiful and the room a good size for a family of four. We enjoyed the pool and putting range. My only caveat would be that the casual dining restaurant was catering to a party as well, so the food took forever over dinner. My curry looked like it could have been a pre-made meal. The breakfast was lovely.
Spa treatments with Rachel
Beautiful spa treatment with Rachel last weekend. After a relaxing day of swimming, using the steam room, jacuzzi, and lunch I had a deep tissue massage and facial which were absolutely divine. Rachel is an exceptionally skilled therapist who is welcoming, professional and calming. I felt revitalised after the treatment, the icing on the cake of a lovely spa day.
Excellent Spa massage
Had a Spa day at Dunston Hall today. The deep tissue massage and body scrub by Amy was fantastic. I have had numerous massages before and I have to say this was by far the best I've ever had. Amy was very knowledgeable and an experienced masseuse. She identified exactly where my tight knots were in my shoulders and manipulated them away. I feel like a new woman. I will definitely be booking another massage with Amy. My mum had Claudia and was equally impressed by her experience and knowledge. We wasn't so impressed with our light lunch choice. We both had a smoked ham bloomer sandwich. The ham was the cheap thin plastic looking type which had no flavour and definitely wasn't smoked. (I wouldn't buy this type of cheap ham in the supermarket ) You would think a place like Dunston Hall would be supporting local farmers and celebrating local produce. I was expecting the type of ham that's hand carved off the bone from a butcher and full of flavour! Very disappointed. The waitress apologised and didn't charge us for our coffee. Bearing in mind our Spa day cost £348!
Would certainly recommend and stay again
We did not visit for golf or spa but were really pleased with the other facilities - a well equipped gym, nice pool, classy restaurant with great food and buffet breakfast. Also a good food menu in the bar / conservatory area. The hotel is set in an impressively large building, a longish walk from our room to restaurant (which we appreciated), however we feel sure that a request for a room closer to reception or restaurant would be arranged. We stayed for 3 nights Fri, Sat, Sun and were given a room upgrade, many thanks.
Dunstan
Dunstan Hall was our stay for five nights. Great location for exploring Norwich and surrounding areas. The hall is set in beautiful grounds. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Both breakfast and evening meal offered a great selection. Many thanks to all staff especially Kristie, the breakfast and evening teams.
Excellently Spa Break
Excellent spa break, great value for moneyThe hotel has changed for the better since we were here a few years ago. Starting with the receptionist ( Melissa) who was genuinely welcoming and efficient,to all the staff who served in the restaurant .The spa treatment was excellent ( Amy) and the addition of a relaxation room is a great idea. The rooms have been reburbished and are extremely clean. The breakfast was good and the dinner was okay for the price we paid.
A restful weekend in great surroundings
A beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Everyone was friendly and engaging. Special thanks to Katy, Leanne(or Leah) , Lily, Tiegan and the housekeeping staff whose names I didn’t get.
The staff are this hotels greatest asset.
It’s a beautiful Manor House hotel with a golf course and spa. However, its greatest asset is its staff. They are helpful and always ready with a smile. Unfortunately I can only remember a couple of names. There were two Lilys and Tegan, but everyone, Housekeeping included, are wonderful.
Highly recommend
I had a Shoulder, neck, and scalp massage, Frangipani foot treatment & an Express manicure with Caroline. I would highly recommend not only the venue and treatments, but also Caroline as a spa therapist. Each and every treatment was so relaxing, and Caroline was so friendly, and communicated with me throughout, checking I was comfortable and happy with my treatments. Had a brilliant experience!
Spa day
Visited the spa as a friend bought us a red letter day. . Nice to relax and have a treatment. Treatments were good. My therapist was Caroline who was lovely and is clearly keen to ensure you feel good
My spa day experience
I had a lovely spa day with my friends. Lovely place in Beautiful surroundings, relaxing as soon as you stepped through the door. Leisure area, pool, jacuzzi steam room and sauna all ready good. Especially enjoyed my full body exfoliation with the frangipani scrub and collagen cream, with my therapist Caroline. She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable, making sure I was alright throughout my treatment. I would fully recommend both therapist and treatment.
Lovely stay
Lovely hotel with comfortable beds. Maisie at the Brasserie restaurant was very helpful. Good service
Fantastic hotel and spa experience
I stayed here in April to celebrate a birthday, we booked a Classic room, and were upgraded to a beautiful Superior room that had a small terrace + mini-bar. It was luxurious, comfortable and clean. Our spa treatments were lovely and the therapists very friendly and professional. The spa area itself is relaxing and calm and the pool, sauna and steam room while shared with hotel guests (including children) were clean and pleasant enough to spend time in. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent - great choice of options, super friendly and helpful staff and as a celiac I was very well taken care off. 5 stars all round - I would highly recommend Dunstan Hall for a visit or a stay.
Extremely good experience and very friendly service throughout
Stayed overnight as part of a golf breaks weekend. Room, and bed, was very comfortable. Slightly surprised that there were no glasses in the room other than coffee mugs. Evening meal was very good and breakfast likewise. Extremely friendly service by staff throughout our stay.
A beautiful spa location and must have treatments!
An absolutely amazing spa day and excellent treatments. Myself and my friend came up for a spa morning, followed by a treatment each and then some lunch. My therapist Rachel was top notch, she gave me the best back massage and facial. My friend had an elemis facial with the lovely Imogen and was so pleased at her results. Victoria on reception was friendly and welcoming and explained the whole day thoroughly. We will definitely booking again. Thank you ladies.
Excellent stay WELL DONE
Great 4 day stay. Brilliant facilities in a wonderful setting. New menu that is reasonably priced. Food quality seems to have gone up since last visit. The room was clean and fresh . House keeping was good, a friendly chap called Tom, nothing was too much trouble.
Super weekend.
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Nice room, very clean. Evening meals and breakfasts were very good. It was a busy weekend but the staff coped very well. Three of the staff deserve a mention, Charlie our waiter for the evening meal, nothing was too much trouble for him. Rachel Cooke probably the most helpful and pleasant hotel employee I have ever come across. The golf course starter on the first tee full of information and good humour.
