Choose from a bed and breakfast stay where you can join us at the main hotel for a hearty breakfast buffet each morning, or opt for self-catering and make use of the country-style kitchen. You can also book stays with dinner in our restaurant included or book a table at any point during your stay.
You are welcome to use all the hotel facilities for the duration of your stay, including the swimming pool, gym, spa and restaurant. There are also gorgeous grounds to explore and extensive outdoor eating areas - perfect for an alfresco bite or enjoying a cocktail in the sun, with golf course views.

From epic games of hide and seek in the grounds to board games and cosy film nights, there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained. Looking for somewhere to get ready for your wedding day? The Bolthole’s stunning décor means it looks great in photos as well as having all the space you need to get everyone suitably styled. It’s also the perfect spot for hen or stag parties, with flexible sleeping spaces meaning you can ensure everyone is comfortable.
You couldn’t get much closer to the green. Make the most of our 18-hole, par -71 Championship course. With 6,179 yards of sculpted green, it’s USPGA-rated and contours beautifully around the Dunston Hall estate. With water hazards and strategic bunkers, it provides a great day out for golfers of all abilities. You can also make use of the putting green and TrackMan driving range before heading back to Bunkers Bar for a well-deserved drink and bite to eat.
The Bolthole is located within easy reach of some of Norfolk’s best and most beautiful sights. Historic landmarks, scenic walks, family attractions and cultural highlights are all on your doorstep, including the bustling city of Norwich, the Roarr! dinosaur park and the stunning sculpture gardens. And that’s before we’ve even mentioned Norfolk’s glorious coastline less than hour’s drive away.

The Bolthole is arranged over two floors and is unfortunately not accessible. We do offer fully accessible rooms in the main hotel, which is just metres away.
