We had a lovely family room for 2 kids and 2 adults with a patio. We pushed one bed against the wall so the littlest wouldn't fall out as the beds are quite high and that worked for us. Breakfast was brilliant. As a coeliac I was worried the buffet would be contaminated but they cooked everything fresh for me and I would particularly like to mention Kristine (red hair and glasses), she stood out as exceptional with allergens compared to any service I have had. I felt she truly made sure everything was made safely for me. The swimming pool was great, no need to book time slots, it's hit or miss how busy it is each day depending on what events are going on. The kids loved it, my 4 year old could tippy toe on the shallow end but happily used his noodle. It felt overall like a very family-friendly place and we enjoyed our time there again. Look for the view upstairs from the balcony, didn't seem to be used when we were there. Photo attached.

this was an anniversary visit/Dunston hall is a beautiful building the rooms are of a good size the staff are very professional and friendly breakfast is included in your stay and is very good quality with plenty of choice/the area is quiet and peaceful/you also have use of the pool/spa and gym/the only reason i have not given it 5 stars is the meals are on the expensive side otherthan that will be lookinf forward to going back in the near future.

We always enjoy staying here, the rooms are great value. This time we had a spa treatment each which was lovely. The food is decent and well priced but the staff are what make this place special, they all make you feel like a valued guest and go out of there way to make your time there as relaxing as possible.

Probably the most considerate and helpful staff you could meet. I was unwell the first morning and they could not have been more helpful to my wife. It was possible I was having a heart attack. Dunston Hall Ipswich road Norwich is set in the most beautiful ground's, yes a golf course with beautiful gardens and amazing trees and shrubs and perfectly well maintained lawns, can I borrow your gardener please?. The building itself fits perfectly within the ground's with a beautiful and bright entrance leading to a clean and well presented reception area. We were there for a spa day which was incredibly good value for money and received discount with the NHS Blue Light Card, brilliant I must say. We had the full works and taken care off every step of the way, genuinely all the staff were so polite and friendly. We started of with the swimming pool/steam room and sauna area. There are plans to revamp these areas and yes being honest they do need it, the men's showers need updating, some ceiling tiles replaced and some floor area's need attention, that being said everything was clean and kept to a very high standard and considering the wonderful day we had, it was not an issue at all and I'm only commenting on the pool area all other areas were beautifully maintained. We were provided with clean fresh towels and robes and we used our own footwear. We went for the full package, that was a full body massage the pool areas and lunch oh and chill out rooms. My therapist was called Georgia not only did she look beautiful she had a beautiful and kind soul too. She put me at ease from the get go, bearing in mind this was my first time having a massage. I was allowed to get myself in position, so to speak! There was a towel to cover up any embarrassing bits. Warm pads were put over my eyes lovely relaxing background music and even the table was heated. The message lasted for an hour, front to back, toe to head, perfect. After changing we had lunch in the garden room. WOW! So beautiful. The food was lovely, Chicken ceaser salad and some bubbles for me, the Chicken ceaser salad was exactly how it should be with just the right amount of everything and not overly drenched in sauce, Perfection. When you're walking through the corridors/rooms do take a few moments to look around you. The wood work, fire surrounds and the staircases have been so beautiful kept not forgetting the mirrors artwork and pictures, too much to take in on one day so we're going to revisit again very soon. There's plenty of parking spaces too. Just want to say a big thank you to everyone at Dunston Hall for making us feel so welcome, you're all amazing. X Lord Woodford-Price

Such a lovely hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an accessible room and everything in the room made our stay enjoyable. The health club facilities were a bonus. We would definitely stay again. We had lovely food in the restaurant on Friday, the 29th of May and a big shout out to Kieran our waiter for his wonderful service a true credit to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was 10 out of 10 And the grounds of the hotel are extremely pretty. All in all a lovely weekend, thank you very much. We look forward to returning

We came to Dunston to celebrate a family birthday and enjoy a lovely time. We used all the facilities including the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and the fit for business massage with Imogen was fantastic. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the restaurant, All in all a great time.

Me and my partner booked a Spa Day with treatments at Dunston Hall about 6 miles from the centre of Norwich. I booked for the signature spa package which was well worth it. We arrived 30 minutes before start time and booked in at the spa reception. We were give robes towels and details of treatment times, lunch and made our way down to the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and stream room. We were a bit shocked to find a female cleaner in the mens changing area not appropriate and felt uncomfortable changing. I understand that renovations are planned for the pool, spa areas, changing rooms require to be maintained to a high standard especially as ☆☆☆☆. It would have been nice to offer a complimentary tea, coffee, iuice and some fruit on arrival at spa reception. We had excellent massage therapists Caroline and Georgia they were very polite and explained everthing we needed to know made you feel comfortable and relaxed. The treatments revitalising treatment massage were excellent and throughout the treatment you were shown care and respect which was lovely. We were give an Elemis voucher to use in the reception area which listed the treatment products used. We made a number of purchases of the Elemis products used. We then went for lunch and some bubbles which was nice as it was our fourth year anniversary. After lunch we went for a walk on the lower terrace and back round to our car. All in all a lovely day. Thanks to all the staff at Dunston Hall who made this a special day for us.

Great place to visit, the National Trust has done an amazing job with this location - family friendly, lots of rich history, great areas to explore and completely worth the price

I had a thoroughly wonderful stay. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming, and every member of staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Amy for a much-needed massage. She immediately put me at ease, and her skill and kindness made all the difference. I arrived with a headache that had lasted for days and left feeling completely refreshed and pain-free. The bedrooms were spotless, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I have stayed in many places over the years, including some that cost considerably more, yet few have matched the comfort and quality provided here. Thank you to everyone for making my stay such a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable weekend. I left feeling rested, rejuvenated, and very well looked after.

Spent the weekend for my friends birthday and we had an amazingg experience Lois did my facial and she has the best hands!!! I felt so relaxed the entire time and left glowing!

A really relaxing and charming stay. We would strongly recommend others to visit. Especially the spa where Haley gave the most amazing back massage ironing out the tension in my shoulders. Excellent facilities and in the bar on the first night we were made very welcome. Brilliant service from the bar staff and a lovely atmosphere .

My experience in the spar was amazing! Amy made me feel comfortable and welcome right from the start. She was friendly and professional and my deep tissue massage was amazing! I felt light as air afterwards. Definitely recommend the personalised facial as well! I’d love to go again if I was closer!

Lovely Hotel comfortable beds and rooms and food excellent. Challenging golf course but the icing on the cake are the Staff. Really friendly and helpful. Lots of youngsters working in the Brasserie but fantastic service especially Charlie and Lewis who deserve a mention. Well done whoever trains these young people they are a credit.

My hubbie brought me a spa day. Ive spent today being totally relaxed in steam room, reading and to.finish my day an amazing facial and back massage with Amy. Amy was awesome, didnt take long to find all my shoulder knots and work her magic, perfect pressure. My facial was brilliant, loved the products and came out feeling really good. Thank you Amy. Would thoroughly recommend Amy.

Imogen at the spa was absolutely amazing, felt so refreshed and relaxed and she was so gentle with the massage as I have a shoulder injury 100% recommend her

Saturday night dinner. Waitress ELLIE was amazing. Really friendly and professional. Nothing too much trouble. Actually made our evening. You should really to look after her, a valued member of staff
