Golden wedding
Excellent short stay celebrating our golden wedding Good food in the restaurant We both had a massage Lois and Caroline were fantastic really relaxing All staff were polite and nothing was too much trouble Thanks for making our stay special
A breakaway with good friends
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent trip to Dunston Hall. We went with 2 good friends. We had all previously visited but many years ago. Above all we found all staff extremely friendly courteous and efficient. Clearly the room we stayed in had recently been refurbished to a high standard. We toured the area so had just one evening meal but enjoyed the breakfasts every morning. All food was to a high standard.
A nice hotel
A very nice hotel and very clean. The only problem we had was that we only wanted a sandwich at night . We were told meals were served until 9 in the bar but when I went to order was told they only served sandwiches till 6.
Spa experience
Amazing spa experience at Dunston Hall, Lois gave the best Elimis facial and neck back and head massage
Another wonderful stay
This is the 3rd visit for my husband and I at this amazing hotel. Yet again, we had the most wonderful time. This hotel is so grand you will not be disappointed. Our room was lovely and big, and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast, as always, was fresh, and there were plenty of options to have. All the staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to return again.
Spa day
Treated to a spa day by our daughter had the most relaxing massage by Georgia and my husband had a more intense massage by Caroline both were excellent … lunch was delicious served by a lovely young girl sorry I’ve forgotten her name. Downside was when we went to the pool area there was an aqua aerobic class with the young man shouting out the instructions … ( could have done without that had we known we would have chosen a different time ) Would highly recommend the massage, excellent.
Excellent
This hotel is at the top of its game. The breakfasts were good (I’ll turn a blind eye to the cremated sausages on the first morning). Overcooked sausages aside everything else was delicious. The coffee, both served at breakfast and available in the rooms, was excellent and a great way to start the day. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped. There was a variety of charging options available. USB-A, USB-C and regular 3 pin electric plugs were all in attendance so keeping devices charged was easy. The fridge in the room was great for keeping my snacks and drinks cool. The air conditioning was a real blessing during the hot summer days. The shower was powerful and easy to use. This hotel is very dog friendly. Dogs are welcome everywhere except for the restaurant. The staff love dogs which is always appreciated. Another plus was the large amount of free parking available. For electric vehicle owners there are two high-speed chargers on site along with several slower ones, making charging very accessible. In summary, the hotel offers a comfortable, clean, and accommodating stay with thoughtful amenities and friendly service, especially if you’re traveling with a dog or an EV. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The staff member can make all the difference to your Brand / Organisation
We had a room booked for 2 nights to attend the Royal Norfolk show, it had been booked for over a month. Upon arrival there was confusion with the booking - cancelled (hotel fully booked due to show)!!!! So there we were at 9pm in the evening and no room 🤬. This is when Vishal on reception stepped up and became the star of the evening. He worked with us to find a solution. His professional calm approach was superb and his communication with us was excellent. He explained what he thought had happened, but rather than leave this problem with us, he communicated with the corporate team and managed to get us a room. He is a credit to your company and I was that impressed I offered him a job within mine. Outstanding member of staff
Amazing Dunston Hall spa break!
Booked a spa retreat for a day. Amazing! Between the kind and wonderful staff at the front desk to the bartenders.. and the spa treatment was amazing as well. The grounds were beautiful and I can’t say enough about the room! The value for this was so amazing too! We also had dinner and breakfast and everything was top notch! Loved!!!
Pleasant experience.
My partner and I had a 50-minute back massage with Haley and Lynne, and it was excellent. It was so relaxing that I drifted off to sleep several times! Both therapists were fantastic, and we left feeling completely refreshed. We also spent some time in the relaxation room before our massage, which was lovely. The only downside was that a few people were talking quite loudly, which took away from the peaceful atmosphere a little. Other than that, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend it. Lovely location. I recommend sticking to the Garden Terrace Bar if you fancy a drink as the Bunkers bar was a bit noisy with golfers. Me and my partner walked around the grounds and took in the pleasing scenic views. Ending our night with a tasty meal. The only massive let down was the abundance of irritating flies.
A relaxing stay in a historic big house
This is a beautiful hotel and the facilities are exceptional. The staff are very friendly, too. I had a treatment in the spa, with Rachel, and she was very accommodating, adapting my treatment to avoid any pressure on a recent injury. The pool is relaxing and the jacuzzi was lovely and warm and bubbly. Food at Dunston Hall is exceptional. Breakfast was plentiful and the afternoon tea was delicious (we needed a doggy box to take what we couldn't eat, back to our room). Rooms are a good size and the superior rooms have extra touches to make a stay more luxurious.
Pleasant and relaxing stay
Relaxing stay in a beautiful location. Great for golfing and for a spa retreat. My masseuse Amy was very friendly and make me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Room was also very nice and great value for money I would stay again.
Very relaxing place to stay
Although the rooms could do with a little updating as they are starting to look a bit tired, the staff and facilities were excellent especially the spa as it really helped us relax. Overall a very good place to stay.
Weekend Golf Break
Has a super golf trip with 3 other lady golfers . What a friendly hotel ! Lovely staff in reception, bars and restaurants. The golf starters on both days made us feel welcome to the club . Rooms comfortable and food excellent . Thank you to all staff at Dunston Hall - we will be back !
Welcoming place from start to finish.
Beautiful place. Staff in all areas are friendly and welcoming. Had a back massage by therapist Georgia… worth every penny! Best massage I’ve had! *****
Unreal stay at Dunston Hall
Had the facial massage and full body wellbeing, had Georgia the therapist, she was brilliant. It was all spot on would highly recommend, staff are all very polite and helpful. Hotel is beautiful, lovely countryside surrounding it. Staff at reception are brilliant, more than happy to help with anything you may need. Hotel was kept in great condition, very clean staff constantly cleaning it. Rooms have everything you need from them beds are extremely comfortable. Golf course is amazing, well maintained and one of the best i have played at.
Good stay at Dunston Hall
Would highly recommend staying at Dunston Hall. All the staff are very friendly and in a gorgeous location. The rooms are a good size and the rooms are always clean and tidy. Room service is always up to a good standard. The atmosphere in Dunston Hall is very friendly, nice and a social place to be with the city only being 15 minute drive away. The noise is very minimal so you are completely relaxed during your stay. I had the facial and wellbeing massage conducted by the lovely Haley. She was really sweet and made you feel comfortable and completely relaxed. Was one of my best massages and would recommend highly.
Work conference
Had work conference: excellent facilities attentive staff: Erika was totally amazing and so helpful
Just lovely
Everything has been lovely. All staff very friendly. Beautiful location. Food excellent. My friend and I had treatments today. My beautician was Claudia. Very polite and professional. Back massage, full body scrub then a facial. All were amazing. Next time I visit will definitely book another treatment. Now I’m very relaxed.
Spa package - AMAZING
Lovely spa package - stayed one night at the hotel and had dinner, breakfast, spa access and a 50 minute treatment included. Absolutely gorgeous treatment! Thank you so much Caroline for working your magic :))
