Had a lovely stay at Dunston Hall, beautiful venue, great food, lovely lounge areas, fab spa and amazing treatments (thank you for the relaxing face and back ritual Haley). Really good value for money. I don't play golf but the course looked very appealing!

Trying to organise a get together with 4 of my oldest school friends in the Norwich area, I spotted the convenient location of Dunston Hall online and then thought the pictures of it looked stunning. We met for lunch and had a lovely afternoon in the beautifully sumptuous garden room part of the bar, enjoying our first catch up in years. In the evening, the 3 of us who were staying over enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant and next morning a complimentary jacuzzi and swim before breakfast. From reception to bar and restaurant, staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Any niggles worth mentioning? A rather long hike to our family room with some quite confusing signs.. and only 2 bottles of water between 3 of us to quench our thirst when we got there! We felt that the b&b offer on our family room (with 2 Kingsize beds) worked out at excellent value at roughly £77 each and we’d definitely consider booking again at that price on the future.

I had a wonderful stay and experience at the hotel. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has some lovely amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. Although the building is a little dated in places, I actually think this adds to its charm and character, it feels authentic, warm, and full of history rather than overly modern or generic. A special mention to Claudia at the spa. I had the Wellness Massage and Facial, and it was such a relaxing experience. Claudia made me feel completely at ease, and I came away feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and reset, exactly what I needed. Overall, a really enjoyable and memorable stay with great hospitality, plenty of character, and a lovely spa experience. I would happily return.

My fiancee and I had a lovely stay at dunston Hall. The bedroom was beautiful and clean. Had a deep tissue massage by Imy , lovely lady and very good at her job. Recommended.

Stayed in Dunston Hall for a few days. It’s is a lovely hotel, with a great spa, pool and gym. Airconditioning in the rooms so we were cool during the heatwave! Had a couple spa treatments from Amy and Hayley and they were amazing, felt really comfortable and relaxed. Thank you very much for the lovely stay 😁

We did a dinner, B&B spa deal and have to say it was great value for money. The food was so good. Beds so comfortable and really quiet at night. Staff all very friendly. I had a facial by Haley and it was one of the best I’ve had! So relaxing! If I had to be picky there would be a couple of points! Staff need to be trained in cocktails and the ingredients to make them (no mint?!). We got the impression it was staff that aren’t normally there maybe but my friend got something that didn’t represent what she’d ordered at all! The relaxation room you could hear the base of music I think from the gym? That was very annoying! There wasn’t a bin or a towel holder in the second bathroom and when giving out breakfast menus please clean them! Overall these are niggles that can easily be rectified; overall a lovely stay and will definitely be back!

Amazing Spa treatment from Claudia this afternoon - Clean, tidy and lovely products - probably the nicest head & shoulders massage that I've had in years.

what an absolutely lovely time at Dunstan hall for our girls spa day for my sisters 19th birthday. i absolutely loved my back, face and scalp massage which was done by Kristie. she was so calming and friendly which made the whole experience so peaceful. She also helped show me what sort of skincare would be good for my face. we also relaxed in the pool and jacuzzi.

An excellent nights stay at Dunstan Hall with our dinner, bed and breakfast package. Both meals were superb. Good choice of food, well cooked and hot. Downside was that there was some peeling of wallpaper in the bathroom and a small cut on the duvet cover which made parts of the room below the standard of accommodation we would usually expect there.

Our second visit this year and again it did not disappoint. We had a lovely relaxing weekend and Katy made it special again. Thanks, Katy for my great pot of tea on the terrace.

Went here for a wedding beautiful place staff were very friendly and very welcoming. They make you enjoy the experience with their professionalism. Will visit again

The initial impression of the hotel is fantastic! From the outside it looks wonderful. The interior of the hotel is mainly very good. Our room was comfortable and we had a great view. We also enjoyed using the spa facilities. However, the restaurant was decidedly below par. The décor was outdated and uninspiring. The food was nice enough, but as I am vegetarian, the choice was dire. I had 2 options on the menu! Also I have to say that implying that certain things , like the focaccia was "for the table". was laughable. When this arrived, it was literally a bread roll cut in half!! I realise that the restaurant was very busy, but we waited for 45 mins for just our drinks! Although we enjoyed the hotel and the spa, I would not book again, purely because the restaurant was not great. It is a real shame as the food we had was very nice but the dining room itself is exactly the same as when I last came to the hotel many years ago. I think a refurb of the restaurant is well overdue.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel for start to finish. From the moment I entered the hotel I was greeted by Will on reception. he was fabulous and very inviting. The bar is beautiful with lovely scenery. I had lunch with my elderly grandmother and she was struggling getting up the stairs and a lovely lady called Lily gave her assistance. On Sunday, I had a roast which was cooked to perfection. Charlie was helpful and tentative with an amazing attitude quite the cheeky chap. Ellie was also very helpful in the restaurant. She was answering my grandmother‘s questions. And helped assist her with her carvery

Overall a beautiful hotel but disappointed with a few issues in the room which I wouldn’t expect from a 4 star hotel. The shower (over the bath was very slow draining which was unpleasant. There was also the noise of constant running water into a cistern from a room above which continued all night and until we vacated the room the following morning. We mentioned both these issues to reception but nothing was done. On a more positive note, breakfast was a delight, with a great selection of hot food and cold food and staff were very friendly and helpful.

I had a very relaxing spa day. I was booked with Claudia for head / neck massage & it was one of the best massages I've had on a spa day. We also had a delicious lunch and great service. Thanks to Amy also who was super helpful during the booking process.

We stayed with friends in the Bolthole which is a lovely cottage in the hotel grounds. Everything was wonderful. The decor was lovely with a really cosy feeling. The beds were so comfortable so we had a great nights sleep. Bathrooms were clean & spacious with a good selection of toiletries. In the main hotel all the staff were friendly & attentive. The bar was great & we sampled some cocktails which were all freshly made. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much & would highly recommend the Bolthole for families or a girly weekend with friends.

I’ve just enjoyed a fabulous spa weekend at Dunston Hall. My friend and I checked in early and enjoyed a fabulous lunch in the bar. The hotel room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. For my spa treatment, I chose a back massage with full body scrub and it was just what I needed. I asked for something relaxing and Rebecca made sure of that. Dinner was amazing and we also enjoyed the vast choice at breakfast. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

Had a great stay with friends, rooms were spacious. clean well decorated. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The general manager was very friendly and welcoming. Stake of the art driving range finished off our stay perfectly. Would definitely return.
