FOXLEY WOOD

Explore the ancient woods.
Thought to be around 6,000 years old, Foxley Wood is truly a sight to behold in spring. Every year in late April/early May, the floor of this historic woodland is transformed into a fragrant carpet of bluebells. Keep your eyes peeled for the white and pink variations – they’re especially rare.

PLANTATION GARDENS
18 minute drive from Dunston Hall
Search for Norwich’s secret garden.
Originally created in 1800s, the Plantation Garden was an eclectic garden built for a single family before changing hands so many times it became impenetrable. It’s rediscovery and restoration has now allowed it to become a beautiful oasis away from the busy Norwich streets – perfect for a picnic on a sunny summer day.

SUNDOWN FESTIVAL
12 minute drive from Dunston Hall
Party ‘til the sun goes down.
Held over the first weekend of September every year, you’ll have the time of your life at this festival. With five stages and headline artists like Sean Paul, Chase and Status and Clean Bandit, you’ll want to party on ‘til sunrise.
